- A single layer DVD holds 4.7 gigabytes. And dual-layer DVD's hold 8.5 gigabytes. The amount you can fit on a single DVD depends on the quality level you choose. For more information on optical media check out episode 15 of Lab Rats.

- Media Center: was previously available on select Windows XP editions, but presently is intergrated on most Windows Vista editions. You will need a tuner card for your media center pc.

- The TiVo Desktop software allows transfers between PC and TiVo, either direction. Files transferred from TiVo to computer have DRM copy protection built in. TiVo To-Go-Pro allows you to output it from the TiVo standard into a format that's playable on your mobile device.
