Microsoft announced today that Windows Vista Service Pack 1 will be available to users through Windows Update in March. (Sooner through other avenues).
The good: It’s supposed to be faster, particularly when transferring files over a network. It’s supposed to be more reliable. It’s supposed to wake from Sleep a little faster.
The bad: (Taken from the MS Vista Blog):
“Our beta testing identified an issue with a small set of device drivers.”
Basically, this means that there could be more issues with device suppor, and that’s why they’re delaying the launch for a month and a half.

The team at Lab Rats would like to wish you a fantastic holiday season. Thank you for being such great fans this last year. We’re really thrilled to have such loyal viewers that contribute so generously to the show.
We will be off for two weeks recuperating from our crazy production schedule, so there will be no new episodes posted on December 24 and December 31. We’ll be traveling to Las Vegas to attend the Consumer Electronics Show. We will release four special episodes from the show starting January 6.
In the meantime check out our last episode of the year and over the holidays get ready for CES with last year’s Vegas episodes 56.1, 56.2, 56.3 56.4 and CES Robots (ep.58).
We’ll see you in the New Year!
- Andy and Sean

Hi everyone:
Little Geeks is in the final process of acquiring a charity number which will allow us to receive several large donations from corporations. But in the meantime our bank account is dwindling and we really need some operational cash so we can continue our good work in the community. Right now we’re preparing to ship 40 more computers to children.
We’re asking our faithful supporters to each donate $20 (or more) to us through Give Meaning. This allows us to receive funds effectively. We’d like to raise $10,000 by year end.
So would you pledge $20? It will be charged to your credit card only when we reach our goal of $10,000. So right now its just a commitment for you.
Please donate at:

If you have any other ideas on how you can help raises funds in your community for us, please contact me at andy at cyberwalker.com
Thanks!
